What is a ‘High-end travel concierge’?
High-end travel concierge is the name we give to our travel specialists, one of whom will become your ‘inside man’ when planning your holiday. They will be able to advise on the best places to go, things to do and experiences to enjoy when you work with Elity to plan your dream trip.
They can take care of every single element of your journey. Let’s say you want to know the best restaurant in an area – using their own local knowledge of the destination or with help from a fellow Elity Travel Concierge, they will come back to you with an answer and, if required, information about a signature dish, the best table, private dining rooms and so on.
They search, test, book, organise, coordinate and make changes as required.
Our Travel Concierges are first of all creative luxury travel experts, but they also take on the role of impeccably-connected travel lifestyle managers/luxury concierges.
We like to think of them as being like interior designers for travels. Just as an interior designer may guide a client to a lesser-known, up-and-coming brand because it is the perfect fit for a home, our Travel Designers will sometimes not recommend the most famous property in a destination because they know there is much more suitable – special – place that fits your travel style.
They do not work with pre-establish travel packages in any way: every holiday is built from scratch, based on their understanding of the client’s expectations/needs/restrictions.
Your high-end travel concierge is the only person you need to contact for anything related to your travels. From making sure a family member can join at the last minute to replacing a forgotten evening dress or organising an unforgettable surprise birthday party, they are here to arrange anything.
For Elity clients who enjoy exploring the world on a regular basis, their travel concierge anticipates their travel plans for the next 2-3 years. When researching new places, they will take notes, pictures and videos for the clients; they get a feel for emerging trends and exciting new experiences/destinations.
Last but not least, they are available to you every day of the year, to turn your wildest holiday dreams into a truly unforgettable journey.

Does Elity charge for its planning work?
No. You get access to our free holiday planning work as soon as you have booked your accommodation with Elity.
What if I don’t complete a booking after Elity has prepared an itinerary for me?
We do not consider our Travel Planning work to have begun until after you have booked your accommodation with us. Our initial work in recommending this property/securing the booking will never incur a fee: if you cancel at this point, you will only be liable for any cancellation charges (if any) imposed by the hotel/property. If, however, we then go on to create a tailor-made itinerary for you – at your request – and you then decide to cancel, we will need to recoup a fee for the time we have spent planning the trip.
Does someone from Elity actually travel with my party?
Yes, if you wish. Sometimes we have clients who want someone from Elity with them; they may even request that their personal Travel Concierge travels with them. This is an on-request service that we quote according to the destination and requirements. Please note that it’s always helpful to know well in advance if this is something you are interested in.
Does Elity have a local representative at every location?
Yes – they are not Elity employees but know us well and understand our commitments to a high level of customer service. They are in direct contact with us, and when it comes to your own trip, with your Travel Concierge especially.
What if I arrive at a destination and want to change how long I stay there?
If you want to leave early: we will organise an earlier departure for you. The fees will vary according to the cancellation policies of the services/accommodations booked.
If you want to stay longer: we will check the availability of your accommodation. If it is already booked, we will try our best to negotiate with the manager of the property to see if he has any flexibility; if not, we will look for another property within the area, remaining mindful of your needs and expectations. We will then manage any move from one property to the other. If the extended stay has a knock-on effect on the rest of your holiday, we will work on extending your itinerary, if required, and can co-ordinate all of the services you may need (chef, butler, driver, beauty therapist, etc.).
